Tubing Down the River
Tubing is a great relaxing way to social distance in nature for all ages and can be found just a short trip from the Triad. Here are a couple of our favorites.
Waterfall Hike

Kayaking, Canoeing, and Paddleboarding
Lakes with rentals can be found here in Winston Salem at Salem Lake
for as low as $4, Oak Hollow Marina in High Point
for $12, or the Lake Brandt Marina in Greensboro
for $15. Other great waterways are just a short trip including High Rock Lake, Lake James, Belews Lake, Kerner Lake, Yadkin River, Dan River, and many more depending on what adventure you are looking for!
Outdoor Safety: If you haven't spent much time in the outdoors it's worth your time to do a little research
on where you are going and how to do your activity safely. Finding some friends with experience can be a great place to start. Great Outdoor Provisions, Local REI, and The State Parks
often offer guided tours or beginner lessons on experiencing the outdoors.
